Same Sex Wedding at The Shard, London
Most of the weddings that I shoot during the ‘season’ include coverage of around 10 hours because this ensures that I get everything from the detail shots, to the ceremony, reception and into the beginning of the evening party. However, not all weddings need this length of coverage – perhaps because they are very small, intimate affairs or because the ceremony itself begins much later. It is absolutely possible to create some beautiful fine art wedding photography when the coverage is shorter.
For Catherine and Sarah 4 hours coverage was all they needed to capture some shots of them at the Shard once they were ready, the wedding ceremony in Mayfair, some fun shots in Soho and just the beginning of their wedding dinner. It goes without saying that I am very happy to offer same sex wedding photography. Catherine and Sarah are a very special couple and it was an absolute honour to photograph their wedding which has been featured on Bride Magazine online.
Since their wedding they have become a gorgeous family with the addition of Molly – there are a couple of photographs of them as a family in the portrait gallery here.
