ICA London Wedding
Di and Raph don’t like having their photo taken and aren’t keen on PDAs. They are the loveliest couple and whilst the thought of wedding photography was painful it was also a priority for them to have some beautiful images – Di is a photography consultant. I met them before the wedding – at the Institute of Contemporary Arts – to see the space and discuss their plans. The ICA was designed by John Nash and has views over The Mall, Big Ben and the London Eye. They had an intimate ceremony and drinks here – with incredible readings and fabulous flower ‘installations’.
The following evening they brought friends and family together at Tanner Warehouse – right in the heart of Bermondsey the venue is full of character and the perfect place to have a fun and relaxed wedding party. They served delicious food, vibrant cocktails, danced, played ping pong, smiled and laughed all evening. They also held a competition for the most fabulous footwear. Happy, relaxed, documentary wedding photography.
